A study on the staking out of a building or a study on staking out a building is a set of graphic and written documents that describe the staking out of a building performed in the field. It is necessary to start construction, which is defined by the Law on Physical Planning and Construction.

It consists of a technical report with a description of the terms of reference, the instruments used and basic data on the building, a list of coordinates of stakes and polygons and a sketch of stakes.
